Secret Tip :
I have joined some “secret Facebook groups” that indeed gave me some power up to my online marketing efforts.
I won’t mention the secrets and the features of these groups and it’s up to you discover these gems around Facebook (just ask to some of your friends if they are part of some of these). 😉
Still the beast of the social media marketing, in my opinion. You MUST have an account there!
There are so many online tools connected to Twitter, that it’s impossible to mention all the most important ones!
But according to the topic of this article, I list below the ones I use when I want to share new posts.
JustRetweet
I guess you already know it, but if not, then you need to pay a visit to this website!
The rule is simple, you sign in with your social media account and while you share other members links, you earn credits, that you can use to share your own posts.
JustRetweet is connected to Twitter, Facebook and Google Plus.
You may set to which category you want to address your post and to which members, depending on their social media power (the numbers of their accounts).
Triberr
Triberr, I love it! 🙂
I know some bloggers who still do not understand the power of Triberr, but it’s a shame, because first of all there are many tutorials you can learn from.
Then you can simply search “Triberr” in Google to find out a big number of useful posts with great explanations of “How Triberr Really Works”, like this article :
How to Use #Triberr – Best #Social Network for #Bloggers?
In few words, after signing up, you need to join tribes (or create your own one), in order to share members new posts available on your stream and have the possibility they will want to share your new articles.
Respecting the goal of this post, I am going to list the most powerful tribes I know (and I am member of – details and numbers updated to May 20th 2013) :
– Power Sharers : standard tribe, 316 members, 102 followers – 5,647,586 reach (contact me here – I am the chief of this tribe);
– Atomic Justice Tribunal : automatic tribe, 205 followers – 5,409,186 reach (contact @Justice Mitchell, chief of the tribe);
– Social Media SEO : automatic tribe, 378 followers – 3,933,753 reach (contact @Berrie Pelser, who is the chief of this tribe).
Conclusion
Social Media, like internet, continually grows and changes.
There is a huge number of social networks and interesting resources it’s worth the mention, but it’s impossible in just one simple blog post!
I hope to have you helped in any way with this article and please let me have your thoughts in the comments below.
Thanks!

Erik – superb list mate! I didn’t even realise Ileane had a group going on Facebook so thanks for bringing this to my attention. One for the bookmarks!

Hey Erik!
Wow this is a cool post 🙂 I shall be taking a look at a lot of the links you’ve mentioned in here.
There is no doubt about it, Social Media has made it easier to find targeted people and getting your content, products & services out there … its made “cold calling” soooo much easier and sociable in the process!
Great to see you’ve mentioned the great group we’re mutually a part of! I’m proud to be a founding member and admin, i know its made a HUGE difference to a LOT of people 🙂

Hi Erik,
That’s an impressive list bro. I’ve got a few more from your list to add to my 23+ groups. Joining these groups is just part of the traffic game. Being active on them is key to getting traffic.
Good luck to group members 😉
Andi Leeman says
Hi Eric, this is a huge post with a great list of Facebook groups, will look into many of these now and a big thank you for mentioning our mutual group too, that was an added bonus but I would happily share this post without you adding it 🙂
Thank you again

Hi Erik,
Huge list – great to see some value ones in there. Some others I am not so sure about, I find a lot of facebook groups very spamming now where people just post and run! But I guess if you get occasional hits from each one then you would get some good traffic in the end.
I use triberr so I know of the benefit of this, I am also a fan of just retweet.
Thanks for sharing.
John

Hi Erik,
Must say thanks for this list. Social media marketing is something I’ve been having issues with, especially driving traffic from Facebook. Though I’m a member of some of these groups you listed here, I have not really seen any significant traffic from them. I know part of the cause is because I spend less time on most of them.
However, I will be adding some more from your list and see what comes of it.

Great list Erik!
Big fan of Facebook groups, like you, there are some real gems out there, you just need to find them. Not only are they great to meet and chat with other bloggers, they are a great source of information.
Thanks for mentioning our Facebook group 🙂
Yvonne says
I have just started a group focusing on SEO 😉
Yvonne says
It doesn’t let me ;(

Amazing list Erik, I appreciate your effort.
I’m already a member of most of the groups mentioned above, especially the four special ones.
Thanks for making an effort for this post, Erik. Keep on sharing great stuff like this.
Molak says
Are you a Member of Ms. Ileane’s group,if yes,how do you get traffic from her group when the first rule is “Never share any Link on this page without consulting Ms.ileane “
Jennifer Cunningham says
Enjoyed the post. I was thinking of reducing the number of groups I share in. Maybe instead I will increase the number of groups I share in. I still do not get your new posts in my twitter account. People are bombarding Google + now and I select only a few posts to read there because there are so many. But I keep Twitter manageable and clean. I read almost everything that comes to my Twitter account because I keep it targeted. Sidebar, if you are interested in how to contact this reader. Thank you for the tips. I will join more groups. I’m learning how to use my time wisely in sharing groups. I like this commenting and sharing and linking thing.
Jennifer Cunningham says
I joined the first five groups listed. Most were open groups but I was unable to share my post or link. Do I have to wait for an invitation?
Shazida Khatun says
Thanks Erik for mentioning my group in this great post but one thing here , number of member is not factor of FB group @ only active ness can bring live to any FB group !
Wilfred Imbukwa says
I have never thought of joining facebook groups to increase traffic into my blog. Thanks for highlighting the groups, now i can join all of them.
Lisa says
Erik great point about the Facebook groups. That is an area I need to work on. Thanks for the tips and mentions of other groups. I love Twitter and Triberr and use JustRetweet once a while as well. Social media sure does change. I am in process of revising old posts of mine and one was on time spent on social media – some of the sites I used to spend time on I no longer even visit, it was prior to Pinterest hitting the scene. It was interesting to see.
Chris says
Really great resources Erik! Thanks for sharing it with us, definitely will look forward to join some of the groups/sites you listed above.
