Engagement leads to traffic, but the average blogger seems to think it’s the other way around. An actively engaged audience leads to trust and (in many cases) more social shares. This gradually leads to high-quality traffic.
Similarly, this is part of the reason we should focus much more on marketing a single piece rather than writing 5 pieces without marketing any of them. One thing leads to the other, not the other way around.
