Blogging is such an awesome tool which can give you time and money freedom both. Blogging can take you to much higher level in your life if you are committed to do so.

This is the biggest reason that many people are choosing blogging a full time career. People are exploring many untouched niche so that they can make huge income with blogging.

But do all people get success in blogging?

No!!

Because many of them start it with passion and soon they quit after seeing the market competition. Because once you enter in blogging then only thing you know is traffic.

At that time you just have single idea that people will come at your blog, they will click on your ads and you will make money.

But when you enter in blogging then you realize that there is one crappy term called SEO too. SEO need too much time and soon you start losing your interest in blogging.

So Here I am going to share some tips for you so that you can dominate blogging easily.

1 . Decide Your Audience

This is very first and crucial step towards blogging. If you don’t know who are the people which are going to become your audience then you will be lost in a big ocean.

You must have clear idea that which category of people you are going to touch. Ask following questions from you before starting a blog.

  • Will my audience be teenagers?
  • Will my audience be males?
  • Will my audience be females?
  • Will my audience be old agers?
  • Am I going to touch newbie?
  • Am I going to touch experts?
  • Am I going to touch webmasters?

And there will be many such questions once you will start brainstorming.

My reason for explain this is so that you can promote your blog among those category of people only.

You cannot promote female products to men and you cannot promote children products to old age people. So sit relax and decide your audience first.

2 . Don’t Write What You Don’t Know

Writing the thing which you don’t know will be like sending your readers to the hell. Rather than making their life good your one wrong tip can make their life worse too.

I have seen people write about some tech tips which they never tried those tips themselves.

A single wrong step can lead to damage of the reader’s device.

So be very cautious while writing the things.

3 . Follow Great People in your Niche

This is one of the steps I love to do most.

I follow people who have already achieved success in blogging and people call them blogging GURU.

Such people have gone through the stage in which you are today and they know where the pitfalls are.

Such people can show you right direction and you can have more probability of success.

4. Read Entrepreneurial/Inspirational Stories

Reading inspirational stories will give you morale boost and you will be more dedicated for your work.

If you don’t have habit to read inspirational stories then start reading them today.

Entrepreneurial stories can teach you how those people succeeded and which were the methods they used to reach here.

5. Widen your Circle

You should keep widening your circle and interacting with people of your niche.

Here are some steps which you can do.

  • Interact with people in different forums.
  • Follow people on twitter.
  • Be friend with people on Facebook.
  • Choose some great blogs and keep commenting on them.
  • Reply each and every comment on your blog.
  • Do guest posting on blogs.

Final Words!!

Finally I would like to say that it is not that hard to dominate blogging but all you need is your efforts and time.

Start implementing the things I mentioned in the article and analyze improvement in your work after 2-3 months.

All the very best!!

Keep Rocking Keep Blogging.

Blogging has become a serious business. More and more bloggers are getting into the sphere and things look very healthy at surface.

But if we take a deep look inside the so-called blogosphere, there are numerous (yes, numerous) bloggers who are struggling to make a single dollar with their blogs.

Now, before you ask a question, let me make myself clear. Yes, I’ve titled this post to be about “blogging success“. You may ask, does blogging success merely relate to money? Of course not!

But when a blogger is struggling to make money and is indeed worried about the same, his/her blogging success is probably in question.

OK now let me get back to the first paragraph. There are numerous bloggers who struggle to gain recognition. They struggle to get blog readers. They struggle to get attention in social media and other places. Yes, they want others to share their blog posts, but that never happens.

Comments, blog posts going viral, clients, authority, products being sold like hot cakes, payments coming into bank account from affiliate commissions – all these happen in the sweetest dreams of many bloggers! But sadly, none of those happens in reality.

Here comes the most important bit, please pay attention.

Most bloggers approach me after they’re already blogging for a few months telling me that they don’t know what their interest is and they don’t know “how” to make money with their blog!

This clearly shows that they’ve simply started a blog with no vision and no clear goal. And then they keep worrying about their blogging success, when they’ve not yet defined “success”.

In this post I am going to address some of the very basic yet highly crucial things you need to set right so that you can actually achieve blogging success, faster.

Do You Have a Goal?

Many newbie bloggers email me asking me help with blogging. For most cases, I email them back with one question:

Do you know the purpose of blogging? Or Why do you blog?

You could be shocked at what I am going to tell you now. Most of them reply: I don’t know.

This is something serious. Even before you think about a name for your blog, even before you get a domain name and even before you start writing your first blog post, you should get a crystal clear view of why you want to do this, in the first place!

Otherwise, success will simply be a day dream. I’m not trying to scare you or discourage you; but that’s a fact.

Do You Have a Business Model?

Having a blog and writing blog posts is not a business. A blog won’t help you succeed unless it’s backed up by a good business model. You should only use your blog as a tool in the front end.

At the back end there should be a business model.

A business model is totally different from having a goal (my previous point).

A business model contains the bits and pieces that help you achieve the “goal” – of course, these “bits and pieces” need to be put in a strategic manner.

Be Warned: Blogging Will Take Time and Smart Work

Most bloggers’ worries can be washed off right away just with a simple understanding (the understanding itself is simple, but I didn’t say it would be simple to accept it – anyway…).

You must accept the fact that blogging will take a decent amount of time and some kick-butt hard work up front before you can start seeing any kind of results.

It takes somewhere between 3 to 6 months of real hard work before you can see some sort of traction. Yes hard work.

Blogging is not a silver bullet.

There is no overnight success with blogging.

There is no magic push button.

Work smart

There’s always some sort of learning associated with anything. Blogging is no exception. When you start as a newbie blogger, you are prone to make a lot of mistakes. That’s fine.

But your smartness should come into play right from the beginning. You should start to learn from your mistakes; they’re lessons. Don’t ignore them!

If you found out that something didn’t work out today, try an alternate. If it works don’t just go back to the next thing.

Rather, take a moment to step back and analyze. Find out what went wrong and what actually fixed the problem. And take note of it so that when a similar situation happens in the future, you could use this analysis and cut down a lot of time and effort.

Learn on the go and improvise. In short, work smart. Don’t reinvent the wheel every time.

And keep a journal (private or public) of your most important findings and mistakes. I recently wrote a blog post out of my private journal >> 12 things I learned about blogging in 2012 – This is nothing but a compilation of the mistakes I did, things that worked out perfect for me and the lessons I learned!

Takeaway

As you can see, the four points I mentioned above are no-brainers. But they’re highly crucial for your blogging success.

If you ignore them, you will end up wasting hours of your blogging effort and will simply be worrying about success.

We all want success, right? So stop worrying about it, and get things going.

Go back to square one and get these little things straight.

If you are into blogging for quite some time, then you definitely understand the potential of guest posting – if done in the right way.

Deciding to spend part of your time creating content to publish in other blogs of your niche is simply one of the best promotional activities for you and your website.

Guest posting is profitable from many points of view. For instance, you can reach a new significantly volume of readers, connect with new people and engage with a new audience.

So everyone should start their own guest posting campaign, no? But it is easier to say than to do!

You need to find the right ideas, writing in a way as to be adequate to the quality of the hosting blog, reading carefully the guest posting guidelines and considering the right way to be accepted.

In a few words, make sure that at the end, the exchange has been fruitful for both you, writer of the guest post and the blog owner.

Every blogger would like to write the perfect guest post. This is what it means to me.

How the Perfect Guest Post Should Looks Like

Positive Hand Sign with white background

1 . It is Not Simple Self-Promotion

If all you have managed to write is just four paragraphs with your link inside, you have very low chances to have your content published.

I assure you that it really happens to receive such proposals (I’ tell you from my experience!).

2 . It’s Written in a Rich and Appropriate Style

If you decide to send your article to someone, you have at least spent a couple of days studying the blog you would like to submit your guest post to.

You have read some posts and perhaps you already have become familiar with the style of the host blogger.

Most of the bloggers create a page with the main guest posting guidelines and you should check every key points before submitting your article.

3 . It is Grammatically Correct

You must be sure you have done everything in your power to deliver an article without grammatical or syntax errors.

I know it is not easy (it’s the same for me), especially if you are not native English speaker, but you must make your best effort to use every tools for correct and proofread your post.

Tip : I use Paperrater – a free online Grammar & Spelling Check Tool.

4 . There Are Few, but Good Links

Do you think it is good to add some useful external resources within your guest post?

I think it is acceptable to insert a couple of internal links to old articles AND some links to external resources, tools or website, which match the topic covered within your guest post.

5 . There Are Some Attractive Images

Be sure to add at least one relevant image within your guest post. Sometimes even a funny picture, can capture more attention than an entire text wall.

Tip : I use FreeDigitalPhotos. You simply need to mention them in your article and you can use any of their images for free.

6 . Who Reads the Content Has Something to Learn

I know it may seem a utopia, but the perfect guest post should always teach something to the reader.

An interesting resource, a guide, a suggestion for improvement : in short, something useful!

7 . It is Followed by an Active Discussion

If you have used many hours in preparing your article and get it published, then you can spend another 30 minutes following the discussion below your content.

There is nothing worse than seeing a guest post with many comments, without the response of the guest blogger.

From my point of view, I love to respond to comments and I believe from them can born some healthy discussions.

Do not forget that you can always learn a lot from your readers and commenters!

Can You Write the Perfect Guest Post ?

If you are able to respect all the points mentioned above, then you are right on your path to write the perfect guest post.

For me, the secret behind having almost the 100% of your articles approved, is to know the owner of the blog where you want to submit your content. It worked for me!

And after you have some content published around the blogosphere, above all if you are featured on popular blogs, then you will be surprised to receive invitations to guest post on several websites.

What do you think? Do you already have published at least one guest post?

If yes, what are the results you got? Let me know within the comments, thanks!

There are millions of blogs online and many new websites are created every day.

But which suggestions may I give to those who are already experienced bloggers?

Well, some tips that can be used to improve your own blog in any way.

Let’s start from the heart of the matter : a proper communication strategy and an effective content marketing are critical to the success of your blog.

In fact, these two factors have the power to retain the readers in your blog, to bring you new ones and – if the website is also tasked to monetize – to influence the ROI that your blog can generate.

That said, here’s a list of eight tips dedicated to those who already have a solid experience in terms of blogging.

In essence, this is – in my opinion – what you should do if you are a blogger and you would like to become an expert in your field.

1 . Be Comprehensive

Treat each of your posts as an article in its own right: plan it so that it is exhaustive.

This means that you have to explain your topic as completely as possible, so that the visitor of your blog will not require any additional information at the end of the reading.

Make some online research if needed and mention some useful resources.

Google like this. Some interesting external links, if they fit well in the context, they coould increase the quality of your reader’s experience.

2 . Publish Only Something Useful

With reference to the first point and in order to be exhaustive, be sure to always create quality content.

Your blog should be useful and interesting for your audience.

Post only your best content on your website. This means that if you want to create a post today, but you do not know what to write about, you should seriously consider not to publish anything on your blog on that day.

Probably this is not the first time – nor the last – that you read that writing quality content is important, but you should always keep that in mind.

3 . Invite Guest Bloggers

When your knowledge is insufficient to treat a subject with competence, you may think to invite a guest blogger.

Find one who is an authoritative expert of that specific topic.

You may want to research first between your friends.

I should invite, for instance, Ms. Ileane Smith of BasicBlogTips.com, to explain my readers how to create an effective Podcast or how to build great videos and market them on YouTube.

I should also think about Adrienne Smith : she could be a fantastic guest in my blog and you will surely learn a lot from her about the secrets of building strong relationships.

The two above mentioned Big Bloggers are just taken as example. In my online experience I have connected with many wonderful people!

And the good part is that I can learn always a lot from them. 🙂

"TIPS" letters written on keyboard buttons

4 . Interview Famous Bloggers

Occasionally, interview some prominent figures in your niche.

Also here, you should think first to ask someone between your friends bloggers.

It can be profitable for both, the interviewee and the interviewer. You may discover many new useful things, concepts, tools from the popular blogger you are going to write about and he will be happy to be interviewed, because he will receive many benefits in terms of online visibility.

5 . Structure of Your Blog

Be sure to organize the information carefully in your blog: the architecture is important because of SEO and usability of your website.

Your readers should be able to quickly find the information they want and they should be able to navigate easily.

I do not use pop-ups and I think I will never implement them in my online properties, because I hate every time I visit a blog and I must click to close a pop-up, if I want to read the content (this is just an example of usability of your blog).

So try to put yourself in the shoes of your readers and see if a visit in your website can be like hell or a great experience.

6 . Ask Your Readers

Stay tuned to the needs of your audience. Stay connected with your niche market.

What does your visitor want to read about? How can you solve some problems?

You need to ask your community what they want to discuss about.

Answer the questions of your users. If your blog publish quality content, sooner or later, your readers will begin to comment on your posts.

With comments, questions begin to come in, both in the queue to individual posts and through the contact form.

Be sure to answer to all these questions. Always. Even if they need your time and effort.

7 . Build a Brand

Give a trademark to your blog content. Which means : “Turn your blog into a brand“.

How can you do this ? Well, is not easy. 😉

Let’s say that it is essential to produce quality content in specific themes and in your niche, to be comprehensive, to show your personality in a transparent way and to use a personal style of writing.

Try to demonstrate seriousness, honesty and professionalism.

8 . Understand SEO

You should constantly study SEO and pay attention to the future changes.

In fact, it is useless to build a blog with quality content, if no one may find it !

You know that Google changes its algorithm very often : what it is worth today does not mean that will be worth more tomorrow.

I’m not an SEO expert and I do not pretend to be, indeed. I’m learning something new every day.
But there are a number of SEO basic rules that you should follow every time you create new content in your blog :

10 SEO Tips to Optimize Your Content ( Learn SEO basic rules )

A quick and important tip:

do not build backlinks just because they are fast and easy to create. You may bitterly regret in the future. I can tell you this from my experience!

These are my tips for experienced bloggers, for you!
