You’re right, everybody should be investing but so many people think it’s a lot harder or riskier than it actually is.

Personally I’m invested primarily in index funds – a U.S. stock fund, an international stock fund, a REIT fund, and a bond fund. Pretty simple and index investing almost always beats actively managed portfolios, not to mention a lot less work.

I am hoping to acquire some rental property soon but that’s a whole different thing altogether… lots of work involved!
