This blog pens down the 8 most impressive online marketing tools that you can use to plan a successful marketing strategy for your business.

Before we begin, let’s understand what marketing tools are.

What are Digital Marketing Tools?

The word “tools” here implies strategies and techniques. Digital Marketing Tools are the tools that companies make use of to promote their product and services and develop their business.

Digital Marketing tools help businesses to achieve primary goals and objectives. Companies use several marketing tools focused on increasing sales and gathering customer information. These tools are used to communicate company information, spark customer interest and motivate action.

1. Google Analytics

Source

Google Analytics is one of the most powerful marketing tools on the web. It is the tool that should be there on any marketer’s list.

Google Analytics is a free tool offered by Google. It is used by more than 60% of website owners.

It provides valuable insights enabling you to track every action taken by the visitor on your website. A few actions that Google Analytics enables you to track are:

  • The number of visitors on your website, by day, month or any other time period.
  • The keywords used by people to search for your site on Google
  • The demographics of the users
  • Where the visitors are from – outreach websites, ads, searches, direct.
  • The amount of time spent by each user on your website.

Setting up the analytics tools takes just a couple of minutes, but can have a great impact on your business. Learning Google Analytics can help you to build future strategies and can prove to be extremely valuable.

2. Google Search Console

  • Average Position: The ranking of your site on google relative to other sites

Google Page Insights prepares a detailed report on what is slowing your web page based on 2 parameters.

  1. Time to above-the-fold load – It refers to the time taken by the page to fully load the first sight that the visitor encounter on your website.
  2. Time to full-page load – It refers to the time taken for the page to fully load.

The PageSpeed Insight score ranges from 0 to 100. A score above 85 indicates that your website is performing well.

Red and Yellow points on the report indicate that your site has obtrusive loading issues. Whereas, Green points are indicative of no significant issues.

Tiktok is a great platform for anyone who wants to make money on the internet. It is a very popular social media app that allows you to create short music videos and comedy sketches. It’s similar to Instagram in many ways, but instead of sharing pictures, you can share short-form videos.

Tiktok has a massive user base and is growing every day. It’s a great platform for anyone who wants to make money on the internet, but it can be hard to figure out where to start. If you’re wondering how to make money on Tiktok, this guide will help. It will walk you through the steps needed to start earning money on Tiktok and show you some of the best ways to make money using this platform.

Go Viral

So, you want to go viral on Tiktok. But how do you do it? Well, there are no surefire ways to make your content go viral. It’s more about creating content that will catch the right people’s attention and organically grow from there. There are, however, some things you can do to increase your chances of going viral. Here are some tips:

  • Be original. Don’t try to copy other Tiktok users’ content. If someone sees that someone else is already doing something similar, they won’t be interested in yours.
  • Be unique. Make sure your content is not just funny or interesting, but also unique. If you’re trying to do something that has already been done a million times before, don’t expect people to be interested in yours.
  • Don’t be afraid to be silly. If you’re trying to make a serious video, don’t expect it to go viral. The best Tiktok videos are usually humorous or weird in some way.
  • Be relatable. Make sure that your content is something people can relate to and understand easily. This will make them want to share it with others!
  • Be catchy. If you want to make a video that people will want to watch again and again, it needs to be catchy. Make sure the song you use is fun and easy to remember, and that your content is entertaining enough that people won’t get bored of it right away.
  • Create contents. Create compelling contents that people will want to watch again and again. Examples of content you can create are music or lyric videos, vlogs (videos about your day, life, etc.) reviews of products and services, life hacks and tutorials.
  • Have a clear message. You don’t have much time to make your point, so make sure that the video you create is focused on one thing only. If you’re trying to tell a story and explain something complicated, consider making more than one video.

Sell T-Shirts or Products

There are a few ways to make money on TikTok, including selling T-shirts and products. You can sell these things directly on your TikTok page, or you can sell them through other platforms like Amazon or Etsy. Here’s how to do it:

  • Create a brand. The first thing you need to do is create a brand for yourself. This will help people recognize and remember your products, which makes it easier for them to buy from you in the future.
  • Choose products that fit with your brand and audience. Make sure that the products you sell are relevant to your niche!
  • Create a store. You can create your store on TikTok or on another platform like Amazon, Etsy, or eBay. It’s up to you!
  • Upload your products and set prices. Once you’ve set up your store, it’s time to upload your products so that people can buy from you.
  • Promote your store. You’ll need to promote your store in order to get people interested in buying from you! Promote it on social media, at events, and anywhere else that makes sense for your niche.

Affiliate Marketing

You can make money by promoting brands and products in your videos. You can use affiliate links to promote products, but be careful about the products you promote. Make sure you are promoting products that you believe in or know about.

Collaborate with Brands

Collaborating with brands is another way to make money on YouTube. It’s a great way to work with companies that you already know and love, which helps build trust in your audience. If you collaborate with a brand, make sure you are clear about what the brand will provide for free and what they expect from you in return. You should also be able to share revenue from any sales made as part of the collaboration.

Use Sponsored Posts

Another way to make money on Tiktok is by using Sponsored Posts. These posts can be text-based or video-based, and they appear in your feed as normal. However, these posts are paid for by brands, so you will be compensated for creating them.

Create Patreon

You can also create a Patreon account and use it to monetize your channel. If you’re unfamiliar with Patreon, this is a platform where people can support creators they enjoy by pledging money on a monthly basis to receive exclusive content from them. This may include access to behind-the-scenes footage, opportunities for Q&As or other types of interactions, early access to new videos, etc.

Livestream and collect virtual gifts

If you have a large following on TikTok, you can make money by live streaming and collecting virtual gifts. This is similar to how YouTubers use Twitch for live streams and interacting with fans. A screen recorder will allow you to record your live stream so that fans can watch it later on. You can also use a screen recorder to create short videos with commentary, which is another way to make money.

Conclusion

You can make money on Tiktok.

TikTok is a social media app that was founded in 2016 and has since become one of the most popular apps in the world with over 1 billion users. There are many ways you can make money on Tik Tok, and there are many ways to get discovered. All it takes is some creativity and a lot of hard work. It’s not easy, but it’s possible!

What is better than watching a movie on a cozy sofa with popcorn in your hands? It is the best way to kill your boredom and cheer up your mood. So, if you are a movie fanatic who is always on the lookout for watching great movies but free of charge? Well, you are lucky since you don’t have to pay subscription charges like a streaming giant, like YouTube.

There are streaming sites that don’t require you to sign up initially. This means that you can jump right into the fun part of viewing amazing content from the beginning. Now many online streaming website options include vintage films, new releases, and popular TV series. The problem you might face is finding the right streaming site for free movies. Although there are many online website options, not all of them are safe.

However, don’t worry about it. We have got you covered! For your convenience, we have listed down the best four streaming sites with an extensive collection of movies. In addition to that, make sure to have a sustainable internet connection like Xtream for a better streaming experience online. It offers high-speed internet plans at affordable prices. Click on this link https://www.localcabledeals.com/mediacom/internet and get the one that suits you the best.

Now, without any further delays, let’s move toward the best streaming platforms that are available online.

Fmovies

FMovies is a popular movie-streaming site loved by millions. It gives you multiple options to choose from. Whether you want a romantic movie for your date night or want a sci-fi movie to work up your brain, it has everything for you. The best part about this streaming service is that you can watch movies for free.

FMovies offers VOD content in many areas, including anime, country, most-watched, genre, and recently released. You can filter and simplify the movies and TV shows you want to stream. There are a variety of video quality options available on the site, including TV shows and movies. Furthermore, its user interface is engaging enough to keep you entertained for hours, plus the extended movie collection will keep you occupied. Furthermore, the site’s user interface is attractive enough to catch your attention. The home page, however, contains ads.

Crackle

Crackle is one of the best streaming services established in 2004. This streaming service was acquired by Sony back in 2006. Moreover, it is also known as Sony Crackle. All devices can stream Crackle for free without being choked by advertisements that block the content. It has earned a reputation as one of the most popular free streaming websites and does not require registration. There is a wide array of content-rich options that you can explore, stumble upon what you like, and then immerse yourself in cinematic fun.

It includes -free movies as well as TV series from top studios such as Lionsgate, MGM, Sony Pictures, and DreamWorks. Crackle also offers an app that you can install on various devices.

Sony Crackle is a great movie-streaming site, but unfortunately, it’s not available in all countries. Therefore, you will need a VPN if you want Crackle to be viewed anywhere on the planet.

YesMovies

Our favorite free movie-watching website is YesMovies because it offers everything you need for an enjoyable viewing experience. It hosts a huge selection of movies and TV shows in every genre, and it’s extremely easy to navigate. In addition to the search bar, you can search for movies by year, actor, genre, or IMDb rating. You can also view trailers, ratings, actor information, genres, etc. YesMovies is a great place to find free movies of all kinds.

It offers a user-friendly interface, easy navigation, and a massive library of thousands of free movies and TV shows. It’s a popular free movie streaming site with personalization features like a favorite list. The website shows trailers and glimpses into movies and shows that you might like to see. It is an excellent way to explore a variety of media content from almost every genre, despite occasional pop-ups.

YesMovies’ ads are very disturbing which is its drawback. You will be closing pop-ups before your favorite show/movie can be enjoyed on it. It’s also an illegal platform, so we don’t recommend it.

Vumoo

Vumoo is the ideal place to find the latest collection of movies in good quality for free. Its user interface is easy to use and would not give you a headache to navigate.

The website offers thousands of movies and TV series, from classic English TV series to Hollywood movies. It also offers a variety of foreign movies such as Japanese animated series and movies.

Vumoo is a popular website that brings celebrities to your device for free. The best part is that it does all of that without any hassle of making accounts or payments that would hinder your streaming experience. The unique thing about this platform is the ability to choose from multiple resolutions for watching your movies.

Although the website doesn’t have filters for specific genres, it provides detailed information about directors, runtime, and film ratings. The website’s easy accessibility and high-quality content are just two of the many reasons it is so popular and frequently used.

Conclusion

For most people, streaming movies and TV series online is not an easy task. With rising costs, streaming multiple sites can be very costly. To access legal, free movie streaming websites, the above-mentioned list can help you. Look at the sites carefully and start watching your movies and series.

When you’re running a business, it’s easy to get caught up in what you can measure: performance trends, analytics, objectives and deliverables. But it’s often the “softer stuff,” i.e. less-tangible characteristics of a company that determines whether it sinks or swims. Why?

Because company culture is not always measurable in hard data; getting a feel for it requires understanding how employees interact with each other, how they feel about their roles and the organization as a whole and how this impacts operations.

Keep reading to learn more about workplace camaraderie, why it matters and how you can foster it in your organization.

Camaraderie, Morale and Productivity

The simplest answer as to why it’s important not to undervalue the power of camaraderie is simply that it’s more enjoyable to come to work each day if you like your colleagues. Take a moment to reflect on your workplace. Do people greet each other genuinely, or do employees encounter silence when they arrive to work? Do people throughout different departments and teams feel comfortable striking up conversations? Do employees support and encourage each other to improve and try out new ideas?

But there’s another key benefit to creating a “human workplace.” Nearly nine out of 10 employees consider work relationships important to their overall quality of life, according to one Forbes contributor. Having more friends at work tends to correlate with higher levels of engagement and happiness, not to mention lower levels of turnover.

Engaged employees are more productive, simple as that. Instead of thinking of camaraderie as an auxiliary issue within your business, regard it with the importance it deserves. At the end of the day, how your employees feel about working at your company will factor into how hard they work and how long they stay before searching for a new job.

Better Company Culture Reduces Turnover

Employee turnover can throw a major wrench into your operations. It’s costly to invest time and money into new hires, only to see them leave after a short while. Here are just some of the costs and strains associated with high employee turnover rates:

  • The human resources department has to spend more time processing paperwork, reviewing resumes and arranging interviews.
  • Other employees often have to cover the duties of departed colleagues and assist new peers in getting up to speed, lowering their productivity.
  • New workers’ productivity in terms of output and quality tend to be lower than experienced employees’ do.

Employees give notice for a variety of reasons, from compensation to life changes to general dissatisfaction. But when employees simply don’t feel like “part of the team” due to a lack of camaraderie, it can certainly exacerbate other reasons for leaving or stand up on its own as a reason to search for a new job.

Fostering a Sense of Workplace Camaraderie

While you can’t force employee bonding, you can give employees opportunities to get to know one another—and have some fun while they’re at it. Kicking off meetings with fun icebreaker questions is one simple way to help employees get to know each other beyond job duties.

The Shining popularized this saying: “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” And it’s true in the workplace. A nose-to-the-grindstone 24/7 mentality will only lead to employee burnout while diminishing opportunities for employees to make friends and blow off some steam. Incorporate a healthy amount of socialization and informal communication within your workplace to leave room for camaraderie to grow.

According to Harvard Business Review citing an important Gallup poll, “people with a best friend at work are seven times more likely to engage fully in their work.” Give employees authentic opportunities to get to know one another. Carve out time for social interaction that’s not contingent on a project or deadline. Take the issue of camaraderie—or lack thereof—seriously, as it affects your employees’ experience and output so greatly.

Today I want to share with you some helpful information about one great tool which I use for almost 20 months. It’s Market Samurai.

This tool should be used by every Online Marketer and SEO specialist. It helped me in SEO and my online work even more than Triberr helped me in my adventure with social networks.

Why?

Because with Market Samurai you can:

1)      Find Keywords for Your Blog or Website

2)      Analyze Keywords

3)      Find Perfect Domain Name for Your Site

4)      Analyze Your Competition

5)      Monitor Positions of Your keywords

6)      Estimate Cost of Your AdWords Campaign

7)      Find Affiliate Programs for Your Niche

Let’s find out some more details about each feature.

1. Find Keywords for Your Blog or Website

keyword research button

First of all – you should create a new project. It’s very simple – type your main keyword, title of your project, file name and language, click “Create” and it’s done.

Create project in Market Samurai

Now you should go to “Keyword research” area. For best results you should connect Market Samurai with your Google AdWords account. Specify needed length of phrases, type some keywords into “Add Keywords” area, click “Add keywords” button and Generate Keywords.

In the example below MS generated 737 keywords for me.

keyword research example

Now go to the next step:

2. Analyze Keywords

keyword research button

After generating keywords you should analyze them. It’s also very simple 😉

In keyword research area you should mark (tick) interesting fields (organic, adwords, competition, commerciality), change match type and period, and click analyze Keywords.

I choose “exact” match type and period “monthly”. I also mark all of the fields…

Of course you can choose other setting – it depends on you.

Keyword analysis will take some time (2-10 minutes), so you can prepare a coffee…

keyword analysis

Most important data for me are:

  • amount of searches for the keyword
  • SEOC (SEO competition) – total number of pages that mention a specific keyword term
  • SEOTC (SEO Title competition) – total number of pages that mention a specific keyword term in title
  • SEOUC (SEO URL competition) – total number of pages that mention a specific keyword term in URL

And of course you can order your keywords as you want.

If you are interested in this topic you can also read:

How to Find Keywords for Your Blog or Website

3. Find Perfect Domain Name for Your Site

Now it’s time to find proper domain name for your site. In “Domains” tab you should type some of your keywords.

Now you should choose needed TLDs (for this moment you can choose from: .com, .org, .net , .ca , .co.uk , .de , .eu , .in, .us, .org.uk , .me , .mobi , .tv , .info , .cc , .nu , .ws , .com.au, .co.nz, .me.uk, .biz)

You should also set prefixes and/or suffixes (it’s very important!)

Find domain in Market Samurai

I find a lot of my domains (org, net, biz and com) with that tool. For example this blog (NoPassiveIncome.com) and ProjectManagementBay.com (it’s not ready yet 🙁 ).

At this moment you can search only for new domain names.

4. Analyze Your Competition

seo competition button

Now you can check how strong your competition is. For chosen keyword (in SEO Competition button area) you can find top 10 pages (you can add your own URL too – chose “Add custom URL”).

seo competition

For “Top Ten” results you can see:

  • Page url
  • Domain age
  • Page Rank
  • Index Count (how many pages is indexed from the whole domain)
  • Amount of unique domains referring to the page
  • Amount of unique domains referring to the whole domain
  • Amount of backlinks referring to the whole domain
  • Amount of backlinks referring to the page
  • Amount of backlinks from .edu/.gov domains
  • Some onpage details (for example if keyword is in title, in url, in description, in header Tag)

Green color is good for you, red is not…

If you want to see some more details about specific page, you should click on the arrow near the URL. Here you can check for example:

  • Alexa details
  • Google trends
  • Whois information
  • ACRank Analysis (ACRank is similar to Page Rank)
  • Anchor Text Analysis

The last 2 options are the most important here (because they show backlinks in details) and are from Majestic SEO (you don’t need to pay for it additionally!).

5. Monitor Positions of Your Keywords

rank tracker button

With Market Samurai you can monitor for free 10 of your keywords (White belt plan). If you want to monitor more keywords, you must pay for it additionally.  I started to monitor with this tool some of my phrases recently, and it seems that it works properly.

rank tracker

6. Estimate Cost of Your AdWords Campaign

keyword research button

In “Keyword Research” area you can find estimation, how much you will pay (as an Adwords advertiser) if your keyword will be on the #1 of SERPs. I don’t focus on it, but for some marketers it can be an additional feature.

Adwords in MS

7. Find Affiliate Programs for Your Niche

monetization button

Honestly I’m not using it. But if you want, you can find products in ClickBank, Amazon, Commision Junction and PayDotCom affiliate programs.

Example for “make money” keyword for Amazon.com

If you still don’t know, how to use this tool, below this link you can find more Market Samurai tutorials.

Has This Tool Only Advantages?

No. Market Samurai has one disadvantage – it’s not very fast tool. For me it works very well even with that speed. But if you want very fast tool – please try to find something else for you.

How Much Market Samurai Costs?

It’s not cheap tool. Normally it costs 149$. But using this link, you can download your free trial version and test it for 12 days since registration. There is no difference between free trial and paid version – so you can try each function.

Can I Get This Tool Cheaper?

Yes, you can. You should only download your free version of Market Samurai. After registration you will get an email with registration details. In this email there will be your unique link to download your free version, registration key and link to great offer – you can get Market Samurai for only 97$. But remember – since registration you have only 7 days for getting your Market Samurai for this promotional price of 97$ (instead of 149$ – it’s 35% discount).

Bonus

When I started using it at the end of 2010, I was able to install it on 2 computers at the same time. Yesterday I contacted with Market Samurai support – now you can install it (with one license!) on 5 computers which is enough even for a small business!

And what about you? What tool are you using for your online marketing? Do you use Market Samurai?

Do You Really Make Money Blogging?

Why I’m asking you about something like that?

Let’s start with short introduction…

I plan to write about something else, but last week something happened which changed my plans. Last week there was 1st anniversary of CommentLuv – great WP plugin from Andy Bailey (I mention this plugin some weeks ago here: How to Stop Spam in Comments – AntiSpam Tips for Bloggers). To celebrate it Andy “squeeze” prize of it (developer’s license costs between 20-30$ instead of 97$!). And a lot of bloggers start to promote it – recently I found a lot of blog posts about it and I also received a lot of emails about this promotion.

CommentLuv premium

I totally understand it – a lot of bloggers want to get money via it. But what do you think – how many of them (of us) will earn “real” money from this promotion, let’s say more than 100 dollars? Few of them (us)? Maybe a dozen 😉

What I want to say is that it’s very difficult to make money promoting other things, especially when almost everybody in your niche is doing it. And blogging niche is one of the most crowded niches. But bloggers in this niche are trying to make big money. In most cases without success…

I know only few bloggers which make a lot of passive money blogging (Pat Flynn, Daren Rowse, John Chow, Jeremy Shoemaker – if you are interested you can read 5 Most Powerful Blogs About Blogging And Making Money Online), and other bloggers make money via other niches (or blogging isn’t their most important source of income).

Make Money Blogging

Do you want some examples – okay, here you are:

Steve Scott – he earns money not from his great blog, but from niche site(s) (see his income report). On his blog he writes not only about blogging and making money online but also about authorities’ sites. But he didn’t reveal what his niche is 😉

Justin Cooke and Joe Magnotti – owners of Adsense Flippers.com  – they earn money mostly from niche sites. They earn money via selling niche sites and via Google AdSense ads.

Josh Escusa and Trevor Welsh from WSOtesters.com – they also make most money via site sales and Google Adsense (placed on niche sites).

Dean Saliba, Michael Chibuzor, Mitt Ray, Bamidele Onibalusi and thousands of other bloggers – they make money via writing for others. They are content creators for others – you can find their posts on other blogs, on popular websites and even on some big portals. They run blogs (and sometimes write guest posts) for promoting their writing services.

There are also some bloggers which promote their own services – not only writing but also website design, SEO or marketing services – and they earn money on it, not on blogging about it…

What’s more – I also make some nice money on my niche sites, but from this blog I earn maybe 100$… And I spent lots more…

So please think about it – is your time and effort invested in blogging (about blogging) worth it? Or maybe it’s a huge waste of your time? There are a lot of possible ways of making money online, for some of them you even don’t need a blog! If you don’t have ideas about it please read some of my posts listed below:

Online Passive Income – 5 Money Making Ideas for Bloggers

How To Make Money Online – 10 best ways for doing it!

How to Earn Money Online with Niche Sites

What is Your Business Model – Authority Site, Niche Sites or Something Else?

Do you still think you can make money blogging? Of course, it’s possible… But do you really make passive income via your blog? I don’t. And I suppose you also don’t do it (but maybe I’m wrong).

Please share your own point of view and ways how you earn money online in comments below this post.

After publishing a post „Social Network Sites – Which One is The Best for Traffic?” I got a lot of questions in comments and via emails about Triberr.

People don’t know how to use this great tool (is it really only a tool or maybe it’s a social network?).

I fully understand them because in the past I also had a lot of problems to understand how Triberr works 🙂

I will not publish whole guide about Triberr – it’s impossible in one post.

In this post I’ll try to reveal four most important facts and tips about Triberr.

1)      What Triberr Is

2)      Most Important Triberr’s Settings

3)      How to Join New Tribe

4)      How to Approve Tribemates Posts

Triberr - a lot of followers

First of all – what Triberr is?

Triberr is a tool (from Dino Dogan and Dan Cristo) which allows you to boost your social network efforts, especially in Twitter.

You can join here a lot of Tribes – after it you can see on your wall (it’s called tribal stream) posts from your Tribemates. Topics of posts are automatically downloaded from blogs via their RSS.

And of course all tribemates of your tribe will see all your posts too…

If your post will be interesting, it will be tweeted for you by your tribemates. It is also expected from you to share all posts from your tribe…

EXAMPLE
Let’s suppose that you are in one Tribe with 20 tribemates. All of your tribemates have altogether about 100 000 followers on Twitter. Your post is very interesting so it was shared by all of your tribemates. So you got 20 tweets only from your tribemates. But it can be retweeted by their followers…

Of course not every post will be shared by everyone. On the other hand – you can join a lot of tribes…

Most important Triberr’s settings

There are 3 important settings before you can share your post(s) with others

  • Blog settings (you should set here address of your blog’s RSS)
  • Twitter settings (you will tweet your tribemates’ posts via this account)
  • Content settings (you can set here frequency with which you will share tribemates’ posts on Twitter)

triberr settings

How to Join New Tribe

To get most from Triberr you have to be a member of some tribes. How you can join new tribes?

If you want to join specific tribe, you can make it in three ways:

1)      You can join one tribe at the registration process (you can join only public’s tribes). At this moment my tribe “Blogger’s Tribe” is open to new members so you can choose it during registration

2)      You can ask the ruler of the tribe (if you know who is it) for invitation

3)      You can leave three comments on the tribe’s posts

This is the most common way to be invited to the tribe, so I’ll describe it in some more details below.

  • Login into Triberr
  • From Menu select “Tribes” and “Browse all Tribes”

select tribe

  • Select the category or categories you are interested in

select category

  • Click “Start connecting” button
  • Browse Tribes according to chosen categorie(s)

browse tribes

  • After finding proper tribe you can try to join it. You must leave at least three comments on the tribe’s posts (in this case you will be automatically recommend as a member of the tribe). Of course tribe rulers don’t accept all requests– it’s normal and you should be aware that you must be very patient, especially at the beginning… After accepting you by a tribe ruler you will get an email titled “A Call to Arms from /Ruler of the Tribe/”. In this email you can find a link to a page, where you can “Join The Tribe”. And that’s all, you are a member of a new tribe 😉

How to Approve Tribemates Posts

Now you are a member of some tribes. There is only one more thing you should do daily or weekly (I do it 3-5 times a week) – share posts of your tribemates. It’s not very complicated 😉

If you are logged into Triberr you must go to your Tribal stream – so choose  “Home” from menu.

There will be a list of posts you can share. If you want to share specific post with your Twitter followers, you should click on the orange button “Approve”.

approve post

After approving you will see something like that:

All approved posts will be tweeted for you automatically…

There is also one more tip – remember to share posts from your tribemates 😉

Other things about Triberr you can find on the internet. Fortunately there are some interesting and very helpful posts on this topic on alltriberr.com in section tutorials.

And that’s all. Do you have any question about Triberr? And what is your experience with this tool? Or maybe you want to join my tribe? Please share all of your doubts, questions or experiences in comments below.

Everyone wants to make killer content. Even if you don’t realize that you need it – for traffic, for social proof and for your own satisfaction.

In this post I’ll not teach you that your post must be great, ready for social sharing, keyword optimized and helpful for readers. It’s a must (you know it, am I right?).

I’ll reveal you some tips and tricks which best of famous bloggers do to make their posts viral.

And viral for me means that your post will be linked, shared, twitted and liked.

Viral post

How to Make Viral Post

1.     Forget about Topic

Yes, you read it correctly. In most cases topic of your post doesn’t matter. Everyone is researching web to try finding great topic(s). A lot of people are monitoring Google Alerts, other blogs, portals and newsletters. But in most cases it doesn’t work… Of course if your blog is about blogging, your viral post must be also about blogging. On the other hands – old topics don’t go viral…

2.     Make Your Post as a Top List

People like to read (and share) lists. I’m almost sure that for most of you Top XX list is the best post to read. And remember that “Top 10” list is the best list (better than Top 1, Top 3, Top 5, Top 7, Top 20, Top 50, even Top 100). You can read more about lists in this guest post: 10 Blogging Tips for an Irresistible List Post written by Erik Emanuelli

3.     Prepare How To…

Another great type of post which has a lot of chances to goes viral is a tutorial. Of course title of the tutorial may not begin with “How to”, but people like it and search for “How tos“ in search engines… Some examples of it you can find below

4.     Make Interviews

Interviews are also very good candidates for viral marketing. But you must interview someone very popular in your niche. Publish on your blog real interview with Darren Rowse or Daniel Scocco. You will see viral nature of such posts…

5.     Make a Contest on Your Blog

Competition is great 🙂 If you want to have great and compelling contest – invest some money into it. I know that it costs a lot, but try to connect with some other bloggers – maybe they want to sponsor some of your awards?

6.     Put some Life into Your Post

You can make it by adding some videos, pictures, infographics, memes and graphics to your post. So forget about text alone. If you want more tips in this area, please read “How To Attract Your Blog Posts – 20 Tips for Normal People

7.     Make Controversial Title

It’s one of the most important things in going viral. Of course your post must be related with your headline. Remember that poor title may ruin your great post…

Please look at following titles:

Google sucks

Matt Cutts reveals secrets about Google

I’m the Best Blogger of the Year

Devil’s Guide to Online Marketing

Do you like it? Would you click it to see what’s inside?

8.     Length of Your Post Matters

It’s very individual. Sometimes very long post goes viral, sometimes not. I saw some posts which length was about 100 words. And they got thousands of likes, tweets and shares. So my proposition to you is – test it. You must try writing posts with different length. And you will see what works for you…

9.     Who is Behind the Blog…

Okay. Probably you make a lot of proposed things from this list. And nothing happened. Why? Because you aren’t famous blogger and your network is too small…

Yes, unfortunately it’s a true. Till you aren’t blogger from A-list, your best post has very little chance to goes viral… So if you want to have viral post – write guest post with killer content for blogs like ProBlogger, CopyBlogger or DailyBlogTips. They have big and fanatic audience.

Believe me; Author name matters and is one of the most important things…

10.Promote Your Post Like a Crazy…

This tip is in case you don’t want to write for someone else (but even in guest blogging it also helps). So you must promote your post as a crazy. That means;

  • ask your readers and followers to link to it
  • make a lot comments on other blogs (with backlinks to your post)
  • link to your post on your Facebook page, Pinterest, LinkedIn profile, Twitter and other social networks

If you want more ways how to promote your post, you may be interested in reading following tips:

Bonus tip – Don’t Give Up!

Even best post on the best blog may not go viral. It is normal that planned link baits will not work 😉 But you must try. Prepare one, two, ten and even 20 great and killer posts. Maybe one of them will get thousands of links and shares 😉

And what are your tips? Do you have recipe for viral post? Please share your experience and knowledge with us in the comments below. And of course share this post with others  😉

In this post I want to share with you some information and lessons learned from about three months of participating in some social network sites. The context of it is focused on traffic that means I’ll try to answer the question: ”Is your effort worth to participate in specific social network site for traffic purpose?

Article will be divided into four short parts:

What works for me?

What doesn’t work for me?

What should work for me in the future?

Your recommendations about social network sites

Let’s start with it:

What works for me?

Below there are the most important social networks which drive traffic to my blog.

Triberr.com

At this moment it’s the best social network (in my opinion it’s not a tool, but exactly SOCIAL NETWORK). There are a lot of bloggers, internet marketers, SEO and social media specialists which share their content (blog posts) on Twitter, Facebook and other social platforms. I spend about 15- 20 minutes a day to check what’s interesting and what I want to share with my followers.

Twitter

I get most traffic (except direct traffic and organic traffic from Google) from Twitter. Unfortunately visitors bounce rate is the highest and time spent by them on my website is almost the shortest…

You may be interested in reading: How to Use Twitter?

Facebook

Traffic from Facebook is very interesting. Amount of visitors from Facebook isn’t impressive (in last 30 days it was 148 visitors from Facebook), but average time which they spend on my site is the longest (6 minutes 17 seconds)

You may be interested in reading: How to Get More Likes on Facebook?

Traffic from Social Networks

Bloggers.com

Bloggers.com is a network of bloggers. You can get a lot of traffic from this source but you must be active on this platform. Especially when you will be one of three bloggers of the day (when I was featured I got 52 direct visits from this site only in two days) you can get some related traffic. What’s more, bounce rate is the smallest…

StumbleUpon

StumbleUpon also drive some traffic to my blog. But this traffic, IMHO, is not very good – visitors spend about 0 minutes and 6 seconds on my site on average and it’s about 63 times less than visitors from bloggers.com

There are also some “sharing” services which I didn’t try at all, but they sent some traffic to my site and I want to mention them below:

http://inbound.org/

http://hootsuite.com/

http://www.scoop.it/

http://paper.li/

BizSugar

Some of my articles got many votes on this community and it’s driving traffic to NoPassiveIncome. There are some popular bloggers using this site and I definetely suggest you to try it.

This article is hot on BizSugar, see here.

What doesn’t work for me?

I don’t want to describe why it doesn’t work for me. Maybe it’s a problem of topics on my blog, maybe I don’t know how to use it. In any case – I tried following sites without effect for my site. Maybe you have other experience? If yes you can share it in comments at the end of this post.

Reddit

I got some traffic from this site. But it’s not so easy and in most cases they prefer videos, pictures or topics not related with blogging…

LinkReferral

I spent some time on visiting and even reviewing some sites they recommend. Unfortunately without any result… What’s more, I don’t want to link directly to this site because there are some links (a few, but there are) which neighborhood may be treated as bad…

Pinterest

Pinterest is only one site from this list which I want to give another chance. But at this moment I get only few visits a month from it…

What should work for me in the future?

In this year I plan to check how following social networks work (for traffic purpose). But you can connect with me even now (if you want of course 🙂 )

Slideshare

I plan to be really active here. My goal is to create at least five presentations till the end of this year. So you can connect with me on Slideshare to see my results 😉

LinkedIn

I suppose links from LinkedIn are good not only for SEO purposes, but also for direct traffic and social proof. So don’t hesitate and connect with me on LinkedIn too.

Google+

I started to connect with some of my friends on G+ but unfortunately Google banned my personal account. I don’t know why and I’m still waiting for reconsideration. But you can connect with my website on Google+

You Tube

The last one network I plan to check this year is You Tube. At this moment I don’t know how I will find some time for creating videos, but I know that I must.

What is your recommendation about social network sites?

Okey, now it’s your turn. What works for you and what doesn’t work for you?

And what do you think about following social networks:

Blogengage

and

NetworkedBlogs

Please share your social network experience in comments below.

Every blogger and a lot of website owners like comments. As someone wrote “comments are blood of blogs”. Without them blog looks like empty house or dead city. We all love comments. But we like them only when they are from real people, not from spambots.

And there is a connection – the more popular blog is, the more spam comments it will get.

In this post I will try to show you how to stop SPAM in comments, most popular antispam software for bloggers and some funny examples of spammy comments.

How to stop SPAM

If you like this post – share your love by tweeting, liking or give + 😉

Okay, first of all – how you can operate with comments?

  1. You can accept all of comments – Google and your readers will hate you, spammers will love you…
  2. You can don’t accept comments below your posts – I don’t like it, blog should live…
  3. You can check all of your comments manually – it’s never ending job. Instead of doing it you can write a guest post for NPI…
  4. You can install and configure anti spam software for your blog. It takes only some minutes, but it saves you tons of work

After choosing 4th answer (did you choose another one?)  we must decide, which software we can use. There are a lot of free and paid commenting systems we can use on WordPress, but I’ll concentrate only on most popular systems.

1. Facebook Comments

Some of blogs use FB system for commenting. I don’t like it because I’m not the host of the comments (Facebook is the host). FB changed a lot of things recently – for example landing page disappeared. Do you want to lose all of your comments?

2. AKISMET

AKISMET was the system I was using for a long time (on Polish market I still use it for some of my small niche sites).

But AKISMET isn’t perfect. Sometimes it treats real comments as a spam, and sometimes treats SPAM like normal comments.

What’s more, some weeks ago I made about 100 comments on a lot of blogs in two days.

After it AKISMET ‘s spamfilter qualified my comments as a spam. I don’t know if they have blacklist or something similar, but on blogs where AKISMET was in use, my comments go to spam folder, without any information. Luckily after contacting with their support, problem was resolved.

3. Comment Luv free version with G.A.S.P.

CommentLuv free version is the commenting system I used prior to paid version. It has some features, which other systems don’t have.

For example:

  • It gives to commentators possibility to choose from their 10 recent posts to link back to own blog (it use RSS for this purpose)
  • You can set who can choose from 10 last posts – only registered members, nobody, everybody
  • You can set dofollows or nofollows for comments
  • With another plugin, Growmap Anti Spambot Plugin, it protect you against spammers (there is a checkbox hidden from SPAM bots)

comment

4. Comment Luv Premium Version

It’s paid version of this tool. It has all of the features from free version and lots more. For example, in CommentLuv Premium you have:

  • Integrated GASP
  • Integrated Twitter link
  • You can ask your commentators to pay for some “link juice” (you will get more posts to choose from)  via Tweeting
  • Top Commentator Widget

It’s not free, but it’s worth to buy it – you can try it in comments below 😉

5. Disqus Comments

Some of my friends use Disqus. I don’t use it because it doesn’t give a prize for commentators – backlinks.

6. Triberr Comments

I like Triberr because it’s the best social tool I use, but commenting system is not my favourite. Triberr, similarly to Disqus, doesn’t reward commentators with backlinks to their websites.

7. Own AntiSpam System

If you are software programmer, you can stop SPAM by modifying code of your WP, for example by modifying   ‘.htaccess’ file. If you don’t know how to do it, you can find free guide about it below this link – it’s site of my friend Sandeep Kumar

8. Other Commenting Systems

I don’t know them – so I can’t introduce it to you

All of above mentioned systems can stop automatic SPAM made by SPAM bots (it’s about 95-99% of SPAM). But we still have manual, human spammers (in last two weeks I got ~40 handmade spam comments).

spammy comment

How I manage with them? – I put them into trash or spam folder 🙂

And how I separate the wheat from the chaff? Read carefully, below I reveal my tricks.

How to check if your comments are or aren’t SPAM

  • Gravatar

First of all I’m looking for photo/image from Gravatar. Comments from my friends are accepted almost automatically

  • Name

If name of commentator is filled up with keywords, I’m looking for another signs of SPAM

  • Using  author name in a comment

When someone use name of the author in the comment, I’m almost sure that it’s real comment

  • Coca Cola test

I perform „Coca Cola” test. It means, when I’m not sure if something is SPAM or not, I imagine that the comment is placed below post about Coca Cola. When the comment is too general, it will fail this test 😉

Below you can find some examples of those types of spam comments:

Spammy comments

But sometime spam commentators try to be even smarter:

“good post about… (and here is a title of your post)”

 Nice comment with great value…

There is only one more issue to discuss about SPAM – should we accept automatically comments from people who made some real comments before?

Some bloggers accept it, some bloggers don’t accept it.

Why I don’t accept comments automatically?

There are two main reasons.

1)      I want to know who participate in commenting and I don’t want to lose some comments (as you know, I’m answering on almost all of comments on NPI)

2)      Commenting systems in most cases check email, name and website to identify the commentator. But sometimes, if spammer knows some emails of your friends, he/she can pretend to be someone else and post spammy links inside the comment.

Okay, I wrote everything I want about SPAM in comments, now it’s your turn.

So, please share your experience with comments and anti spam software you use on your blog(s).
