Personally, I think that people will approach keyword research differently starting this year. A study released by Ahrefs revealed that relying on search volume from paid SEO tools for traffic estimation is inaccurate: https://ahrefs.com/blog/keyword-traffic-estimation/ Not to mention, voice search assistants are catching on among regular users. Therefore, I imagine smarter SEO specialists to optimize for keywords that people will normally say instead of type. For example, it will be ideal to optimize for keywords starting with how, what, why, when, and what because that’s how people ask questions. In other words, voice search will change how we research and optimize for keywords in the near futrue.
