Most of my work is B2B orientated and I found that using twitter as a primary social channel for promoting my work trumps any other method.

Hello Erik,

I love to hang around on Twitter. One of the best social media platforms. It helps me to connect with the people with same profession and built a great community, which can be healthy for our blogs or products.

The better we built the relation, the better we built trust. Its always good to build trust,so that it can nourish our business.

Hash tags are more like the SEO and can help us to rank better among the related search. I have been using twitter to promote others content and building relations with the fellow bloggers.

Hashtags does the same work as SEO.

Hi Erik, oh yes – Twitter is my favorite for this reason. I find it so much easier to network here than on the big Facebook. It’s my highest source of traffic combined with the use of Triberr.
I think being real with a real photo on Twitter is key to start with. So many newbies start with a funky image – I ran into an old co-worker yesterday and asked me about Twitter. Soon as I saw her new profile I laughed – it had Doritos as her Profile pic – nothing to do with why she was on the network. I set her straight quick – LOL.
I have to work more on #3 – thanks for the reminder on that one. That was a great example Erik.

That’s so wonderful post you did for the Twitter, buddy! 🙂

Twitter is working well for me. But I use it mainly for promoting OTHER. 🙂

For the traffic purpose, it is my second best source in social after the Facebook but not registering much percentage than Facebook.

But still, it is of good worth. 🙂

I will re-examine my approach to Twitter and make ways to use it effectively.
