Summary
| Description |
English: Median means divider. The median divides the road into two parts - the left hand side and right hand side. Vehicles use the appropriate side of the roads as per traffic rules applicable to the country. There may be simple medians or medians where plants are cultivated. They act as braking systems and the median allows free flow of traffic and it brings discipline among the road users. |
